IMPLEMENTATION OF NETWORK ECONOMIC-MATHEMATICAL MODELING FOR THE PROCESS OF BUSINESS PLANNING
Butsenko E.V., Shorikov A.F.
Abstract
The article deals with current issues of the management of business planning processes for businesses. To solve the problems of optimization of the process of business planning the authors propose using network mathematical modeling for economics which makes it possible to calculate the best time to implement a business project and serves as a tool for increasing the economic potential and competitiveness of the enterprise. The article also proposes using methods of network planning and management as a tool for economic and mathematical modeling of business planning. This constitutes the novelty and scientific hypothesis of this article - i.e., a new application of known methods of network planning and management to the deterministic economic-mathematical modeling of business planning.
In this paper, a practical example illustrates the formation of a network model that includes a sequence of actions in the business planning process; their relationships are defined and the coding of the process is performed. Corresponding models of the network schedule are constructed. A detailed sequence of calculating the parameters of the network model is suggested, their calculation being done for the considered case study. A critical path is formed and the optimum time for considering a business project is calculated. At the end of this work a schedule is constructed showing the implementation of the entire business project through time.
The presented results of applying the proposed method of network modeling to optimize the business planning processes confirm its effectiveness, and the conclusions that were drawn are indicative of the effectiveness of economic and mathematical modeling of network methods for tackling major issues of business planning, namely for forecasting results and controlling the process.
The objective of the study was therefore achieved: the proposed network modeling business planning process makes it possible to optimize the management of this process to meet selected quality indicators. Optimization of the business planning process based on network modeling is a way to justify the attractiveness of specific business projects and encourage investors to take positive decisions.
