Modeling of Spatial Features of Development of Processes of Disturbance and Remediation of Lands
Naumov I.V., Savchenkov S.S.
Abstract
Violation and destruction of land, together with a small share of reclamation (restoration), leads to an environmental disaster, which is clearly shown by the environmental situation in the Russian Federation. This, in turn, is confirmed by the environmental safety strategy of the Russian Federation. The main goal of this study is to assess the processes of land degradation taking place in the regional systems of the Russian Federation, to determine the main directions of their violation and restoration (reclamation) using the methods of economic, mathematical and spatial modeling. The present work reveals the features of the author’s approach to the study and modeling of spatial features of the development of disturbance and land reclamation processes in regional systems, which, thanks to the use of least-squares regression analysis, allows us to establish the main causes of degradation of land resources and their restoration, to build a medium-term forecast of their disturbance and reclamation in the future, and using the method of spatial autocorrelation according to the methodology of Moran P. to identify the features of interregional interference in the processes of disturbance and land reclamation, to identify spatial centers of active development of these processes and their zones of influence. Against the background of the environmental uneven distribution of disturbed lands to reclaimed (restored) ones, a threat to the environmental safety of the Russian Federation is traced, using spatial modeling and regression analysis; interferences of individual regions were identified where the level of disturbed lands is actually thousands of times higher than restoration, the main centers of degradation were mineral resource centers of the Russian Federation, which in turn brings these regions closer to an environmental disaster.
Keywords
